Annual Training 2002

Training Focus

The training was focused down to Individual Team training Level as if they were deployed to an operational area. They have to depend on each other to complete missions assigned to them.

Types of Training

Training included;

Confined Space Rescue

Strucural Live Burns

Air Crash Rescue

Propane Fires

Field Training Exercise.

During the FTX, The Fire teams set up a Fire Station in the field location and were challenged with 3 unannounced fire drills of all types each day. Teams had to respond and neutralize a different situation with each drill.

New Team Concept

The Fire Teams were set up in the New configuration that will be coming soon to the unit. Each FIre team will have a separate Unit Designation (AA)
